Elder Sign is a cooperative dice game that allows players to take on the roles of investigators. These investigators must successfully navigate adventures within a museum in order to gather the clues, items, and eldritch knowledge needed to seal the rifts between dimensions and prevent the arrival of the Ancient One.
A clever and thematic dice mechanic pits the investigators' exploration against monsters and the immense difficulty of maintaining their sanity and health while investigating the museum's most perilous exhibits and terrifying instances of madness. Elder Sign expertly recreates the Lovecraftian thrills of eerie suspense and mind-numbing horrors, allowing players to complete a game in one to two hours.
The rules, card text, and innovative dice mechanics were expertly designed by Richard Launius and Kevin Wilson, the creators of Arkham Horror.
