Arkham Horror: The Card Game is a living card game of eldritch mystery. In the sleepy town of Arkham, Massachusetts, a small band of intrepid investigators seeks to uncover the nature of a sinister menace that threatens humanity. However, the arcane realm holds countless terrors, and the investigators must take care to maintain a tenuous grip upon their very sanity in order to survive.
The game is cooperative, allowing players and their friends to become investigators within the quiet New England town of Arkham. Each player's custom deck of cards reflects their strengths and weaknesses, which they must utilize as they work together to unravel the world's most terrifying mysteries.
This expansion introduces 5 new investigators and a wealth of new player cards and customization options to the game, including new multi-class cards. The new investigators include the mechanic Daniela Reyes, the astronomer Norman Withers, the archaeologist Monterey Jack, the martial artist Lily Chen, and the salesman Bob Jenkins.
Blurring the traditional lines between role-playing and card game experiences, Arkham Horror: The Card Game is a living card game of Lovecraftian mystery, monsters, and madness. In the cooperative campaign, players will investigate the quiet town of Arkham, unraveling mysteries, learning new skills, obtaining useful items, and potentially losing a bit of their sanity.
This expansion features a new type of challenge for Arkham Horror: The Card Game. The scenarios sprawl across multiple parts, forcing players to make tough decisions as they contend with hordes of dangerous monsters and the deadly cold of Antarctica's harsh weather. This expansion requires a copy of the Arkham Horror: The Card Game core set to play.
