The Revised Core Set is the perfect entry point for new players who have yet to experience the cooperative investigations and gripping campaigns of Arkham Horror: The Card Game. With a single copy of this set, players have everything they need to start playing with one to four participants. They can simply pick a pre-built investigator deck and dive into the first scenario of the Night of the Zealot campaign included in the Core Set.
Once players have completed these initial three scenarios, they'll find plenty of options for choosing their next campaign. The Revised Core Set is fully compatible with all previously released Arkham Horror: The Card Game products, allowing for a seamless transition to further expansions and adventures.
In this cooperative game, players become investigators within the quiet New England town of Arkham, Massachusetts. Regardless of what compels or haunts them, they'll find that their strengths and weaknesses are reflected in their custom deck of cards. These cards will serve as the investigators' resources as they work together to unravel the world's most terrifying mysteries.
The included Night of the Zealot campaign provides new players with their first taste of the horrors of the Mythos. This three-part scenario is designed to introduce the core mechanics and narrative elements of the game, preparing players for the deeper and more challenging campaigns that await.
Arkham Horror: The Card Game - Revised Core Set is suitable for 1 to 4 players, aged 14 and older. The average playtime for these suspenseful games is approximately 1 to 2 hours.
